vox pop feedback

As a result of the focus group I can see that my chosen topic of mental health and social media is a good choice due to a lot
of my target audience having an opinion of it this will help make my asking process easier because I know that there is
different opinions of my target audience from my topic.
all of my peers that i have asked said that the social media and mental health question is the best purely because they can relate to it themselves and they know the art get audience would rate very easily aswell.

Evaluation:

For my vox pop project I had to come up with a bunch of topics that I could ask a question about to my target audience of teenagers. My theme was social media and mental health. I had to research my top 3 chosen topic and ask my group of which idea they think would be best to ask my target audience. Then I had to write up their feedback as well as record it then edit and post it then I was ready to go around my college City Of Westminster College and ask them my chosen topics question which was “Do you think social media is the main reason why more and more teenagers have mental health problems. I thought this topic was appropriate for my target audience simply because their teenagers themselves or young adults meaning some can relate as well as social medias main users are between the ages 11-23. I edited my audio recordings that I have recorded on a vox pop recorder with a mic and headphones. I then took appropriate pictures to then post on my word press site that my examiner can see. In the pictures you can see a girl looking at her phone eagerly then covering her face crying with her phone dropped beside her this suits my theme because she has gotten depressed with the expectations that she sees and thinks she has to live up to to impress the people she has on social media. My next task was to then go around again asking my target audience the question this time record it with a camera. Then I had to edit the video and post it aswell on my site. Along the process of this project ive been keeping track of my work by filling in a progress log weekly of what ive done and used and could have done better that week.

It was quite hard to find research of my topics because it wasnt answering my question specifically which then wasn’t what I needed. My weaknesses were my timing and editing. i couldn’t keep up with the time and ended up wasting a lot of my time. i also found it very challenging to edit because i haven’t ever edited before and importing and exporting and editing itself was hard.
