In Unit 7 we were asked to do research about different interactive media formats. Then make a survey asking people about the sort of font that engages them to pay attention more to a website and the colour scheme they would rather see in a website, the results that we received from the survey we used to design our own website of a topic of our choice and then to present it in the format of a presentation pitch to the class.
my choice of topic for the website is about Music. my website template is vibrant because my survey answers showed see that most people like to see that on websites. my typography that i will us for my website will be bold. On my website you can post your own covers and get feedback on them from anyone. Celebrities, producers, friends and family. My website is called Replay this idea cam to me because if you like a song you replay it because its that good that you can’t stop listening to it and its stuck in your head.
in my survey i asked people how often they use social media from a scale 1-5. One being hardly ever and five being all the time most of the day. I also asked what they use their phone for and from the answers they could list a number of things they use it for and most said talking to people ad watching videos and then i decided to add a feature to my website where you can watch music videos and covers and post them.
From personal experience i have realised that most apps and websites don’t allow you to be able to replay a song more than once and most people would want to be able to replay their favourite songs over and over so i added that feature aswell to my website.
